We operate through subconscious habits much more than through conscious choices. Some people say that 90% or more of all of our decisions are made at the subconscious level.
Many habits are created unconsciously, without our knowingness or intention. But we can also create habits intentionally, and reprogram our habitual mind.
When we repetitively and consciously choose activities, attitudes, and perspectives, we drive those choices into our subconscious mind, and they become new habits.
To a very large extent, we are our habits. We become what we practice.
